I know I won't win your guys beauty contest with how this is mounted but @mickeymouseclub what is your are saying? Drill a screw or bolt through the rack into the spacer the keep it in place? I'm not cutting a hole in the actual rack and I'm not moving or rearrange the APU I forked over $9k cash for, not happening. I've had one spacer move a little and then I tighten the ubolt and haven't had an issue.

He is talking about removing the spacers all together and cutting big notches in the foot of the rack so it fits over the apu saddle mounts.

Ok, I misunderstood him. Thought he said you could put a bolt into the spacer. I'm definitely not cutting a hole.

You could drill down through the headache rack and into the spacer and put a bolt in it.

Still think the best way is to mount the apu with different brackets.

Your talking about drilling into the frame to mount the APU? I'm stopping where I bought my APU tomorrow for service
I'm going to see what they have to say. I'm not sure of Boomers would drill through the frame?

Yes. Mounting it directly to the frame rail just like everything else on the truck is mounted.

I got a $10 one, but it was reimbursement for the trailer lube job. And I was charged the $1.75 EFS fee; And I told them that I grease my own truck and had been greasing the trailer also, but that apparently wasn't good enough. And Speedco even managed to miss one of the two grease fittings on the landing gear.
