Once I switched my JJK logs over to a dedicated tablet and off of my phone I never again had a problem. My only previous problems were it taking time to connect to the truck and on occasion logging me out. Now I am in the routine of submitting logs and logging out in the am, followed by a restart of the tablet and its been good to go... I understand the limitations on duty status changes so that's never been a problem.

That's about where I am now. Lol

Mine has always been on a dedicated tablet & I've had some issues but not many. Qualcomm is a lot easier & a better system by far though. I will probably end up switching because I can get one for $300. Last I heard Mercer was selling them for $535. I guess they were running a sale. I'm not real fond of the $40 or $45 a month charge that goes with them but it is what it is.

Anyone pick up at the Galveston port before? Pretty easy to get into?

Can't help you there but hopefully faster than the port of Philadelphia went for me. The Agent didn't fax the proper paperwork I needed over to them which caused a couple hours waiting game because they got the load from another broker then The port office where the paperwork got faxed to goes to lunch for 1 hour then when they come back, I get my paperwork but now the guy who I bring the paperwork to is off to lunch for 1 hour... LOL... Crazy crazy stuff I swear. If it ain't that its this and if it ain't this its that.:eek:

I'm not a fan of ports at all. But it was paying ok for the area and 40 miles away lol. I don't think I can go into the ports in the north east due to the age of my truck.
