You're grossing under 3 a week. What's the point lol especially with a truck and trailer payment

Nah I'm just asking because he left Schneider to make more money from what he says but those numbers don't exactly say he's doing better.. That's all

He said he started the 9th and had 4 more days off. Sounds like 12 days off to me.

Pay attention, I started on the 9th AND I've had 4 days off SINCE THEN. My month will end on Monday the 29th. I don't make much more than I did at Schneider but I have about double the time off. Plus I don't get micromanaged & treated like a company driver. I'm doing well, thanks for your concern.

Gross is what has or can be done. But at the end of the day/week/month it is about what you worked for the net.

Driver A grossed 200k on 115k miles for the year, netting 120k after fuel and carrier deductions running 3-4 weeks at a time and took two weeks off through the year as vacation time. Driver B, an independent, grossed 155k on 75k miles, netting 95k after fuel and insurance. He's home every weekend except for a stretch from August to October and takes mid December to mid February off along with three or four weeks throughout the year.

Driver A grosses more and nets more, but which Driver is really living?

I didn't watch the video but I worked my fuel numbers.
My fuel was 24.6% of gross. Cost of 30.7cpm. And a 7.21 mpg.
I work hard (spend a lot of time at) buying and managing my fuel numbers.

HalpinUout, Allan M and RStewart Thank this.
