Shames me to see this is the ######## Mercer is hiring:/

 

Ya they will hire anyone these days. But to be fair its just a sign of how low our society has fallen.

 

Yeah its very sad to see our society moving this way. I think i would of rather lived well before these years lol

Anyone willing to pay empty miles runs your truck. The may say “No forced dispatch”. But odds are if you refuse a load then the DH is no longer required to be paid. Of course that is in the fine print but...

 

Hopefully not. I'd rather not go back to pulling a welfare wagon so soon lol

 

It wasn't "forced" but if it all pays the same why make a fuss? I did enjoy my work there and the people. Also made good money too.

Just missed throwing chains and tarps for some messed up reason. Self dispatch was just icing on the cake. Or sugar in the Kool Aid, however you want to put it.

 

Are you saying you couldn't make money at landstar? If that is what you are saying you won't do much better here.

 

Its different when you lived through it from the golden days to today like some of the guys have. Ive only been here since may and coming in after it starts doesnt seem so bad. The other companies have changed dramatically too. Nearly didnt recognize the industry when i came back. I think mercer is way better than most and about the only place to change to would be gettin your own numbers.
