Sorry but everything I've read is nearly as stupid as it sounds. One thing for sure is JCT is going to love you. Pay a truck for 27 months and turn it back in to them, I need to get involved in that type of business. Apparently you haven't read much here but @CJndaTruck just posted last week his new truck was in the shop over a month for repairs. That can happen to New or old trucks. If your not confident about your financial situation wouldn't you think you should wait until you have the funds to move forward in buying a truck versus what your attempting to do?

@kanidana what @thaistick said it's good advice. You may be better off using half your money for a down payment on a used truck or new if you can get one with that little down & then making a move. Yes you can have issues with an older truck but you can have issues with a new one also. I leased a truck from SFI for one year & turned it on when my one year was up. The truck was brand new when I got it. I bought an older truck with 725k miles in it for $28k. I've put about $13k into my truck, including buying tires, in a year and a half. Still spent less than I would've had a got another lease truck from SFI before I switched to Mercer. But that is all your decision & since that's not what you asked but we all have our opinion, now I will answer your question. The swap will be easy. You'll have to pay $400 I think to SFI to do the swap. I'm not 100% sure on the amount since I didn't have to. Schneider has had so many people leave & come to Mercer SFI knows what do to. They will work most of it out with Mercer, after you're approved at Mercer, & you won't have to do a lot. It's pretty easy to do. @drvrtech77 just did it a year ago. Maybe he can join in & explain it more.

Going to Schneider is ONLY a step up because you can somewhat control what you do. Other than that, it's not much better than being at JCT. If you get things figured out you should make more money at Schneider than you did at JCT.

Please, stay out on NC, especially western NC along I-40. I don't want you even driving by close to where I live. There's no way I want your black cloud having any chance whatsoever of hanging around here. lol

Is the drier popping off constantly? If so, the unloader valve may be bad.
