You're good for up to 20k on any single axle, as long as you're not over for gross the group. If you were to be more than 2,000 lb difference, then I'd be concerned. Hopefully, I explained it correctly.

They aren't perfect. They might perfectly equalise how much pressure is in each air bag, but they will nevet be perfect weight distribution due to the physics involved with the load being closer to the front axle. But they are good enough as long as you are halfass decent at guestimating load distribution. Remember the loaf center on a soread axle is exactly halfway between the kingpin and the center of the trailer axle group.

If a mod gets a stiffy and doesn't care for you're gone, whether it amounts to you being wrong or not.

You drive a columbia don't you? If so, does your for panel have that big plastic map holder pocket? If it does the back panel of the pocket pops out easy allowing access to the inside of the door. Use a thin putty knife to pop the top tabs out, then lift up to get the bottom tabs out. That will allow you to reach in and pull the latch rod. The problem is most likely the little plastic clips that had the rods to the door latch. A 50 cent clip but most dealers won't stock them, they want you to buy a new handle for 150 bucks. However you can find them online.

They also sell them in auto parts stores. The same clips have been used since before I wore diapers. Now there's a picture!
