Sounds like he has a business plan and he's following it. That's what I would be doing if I was wanting to grow. Any good business owner knows you have to sacrifice to build the business regardless of the industry.

 

My truck is paid off but i still stay out long as its easy money plus i need like $20,000 so we can buy a house lol

It doesn't take you to stay out 12 weeks to turn a profit...I know people that have their own authority or even here like myself that may stay out a week or two at best and still turn a profit.. If you legitimately have 5 trucks that you're operating along with your personal truck i don't see the value in being gone 12 weeks just to come home for a few days then do it all over.. Let's be a little realistic lol

 

I get it..I guess some like to stay out for weeks or months.. All I have is a week or two in me at best lol people say home time is overrated until they no longer have a home to go to.

 

Are you serious? He didn't say anything about turning a profit. He said he's banking money. Here's wanting to buy another truck and it's much easier and faster to get the money for it by staying out and running instead of running for a week then going home. He's doing it the smart way for what he's wanting to accomplish.

What tickles me is the people on the internet that give someone crap for the way they run THEIR business.

When using a battery load tester should i run the truck for 10 mins before doing the test as the trucks been off for 2 days?

 

If you have a paid off truck already and have 5 others do you really have to stay out 12 weeks to buy another truck Sherlock?
