I knew facebook was evil.
I always charge mine up, then unhook them from the truck and each other for a night then test them.

He has to stay out IF THAT'S HIS CHOICE. Who are you to judge his business plan? No where did he say he had to, he said he chooses to. Have you ever heard of someone working overtime to make extra money? Same thing here. Geez. Do you have to knock others to make yourself feel better?back street slider and Woobie Thank this. -
-
@RStewart who's knocking him..I said I don't how you can stay out 12 weeks with a paid off truck and 5 others.. How's that a knock against him?????

Quit being a tool and let people do their deal. You don't have to agree and they don't need your approval.back street slider, Woobie, thaistick and 1 other person Thank this. -
Ok, so since its wiring advice week... before i trace the entire wiring of my truck, two issues maybe you guys can point me where to start.
First, my taillights don't turn off on my truck/trailer, after remaining on for a few days they will eventually turn off on their own if I don't start the cycle all over. If I don't turn then on to begin with, then they typically shutoff sometime while driving and will remain off until I flip the switch. It's in the truck though, because the truck does it even bobtail.
2nd issue, I'm sure is in my wiring where I created an extension cord, but just haven't taken the tape off to verify yet, but my strobe/light bar suddenly decided one day to turn on solid on the drivers side only and perform no other functions, even after I unplugged the control box. I had the pull the fuse to get it to turn off. -

I would high idle the truck for a bit longer than 10 minutes, say 30-45 minutes to ensure your batteries are fully charged. I have an electronic load tester similar to yours and after doing some research I found out that CCA are measured at 32 degrees F. So, the reading you get now at 80 or 90 F will be significantly off, how much, I'm not sure. And yes, you must disconnect the batteries from each other.
In the FB post, you mentioned that your voltage falls or fluctuates while driving causing the Low Voltage Alarm, and that a battery or two were reading low/replace on the load test.... IIRC, recently you had problems with corroded wiring; with the age of your truck I'd look carefully at all of your battery cables it could be that you have some serious internal corrosion that is preventing those batteries from charging efficiently.
Now back to my regularly scheduled vacation..... -
Agreed..... He's obviously doing something right, rarely do you build a fleet of 5+ trucks by not doing it right, 1 or 2 trucks maybe...
I applaud his dedication and work ethic, as he states in the video, he isn't happy with just a few employees he wants hundreds. That requires a huge amount of capital and cash flow. Most don't successfully continue to succeed and prosper by letting off the gas once they achieve a little bit of success. Again, from his words in the video, he doesn't have any kids as of yet and now is the time to put in the extra hours and hard work so that he can enjoy his family time in the future. Live like no other now, so you can live like no other later... -
