I just dont let things like this get to me.
It just seems most of you dont like someone that is happy here , I have simply stated using a scan app might help if needed or why location might not work, and I only posted that because it happened to me, the file size and location.
It just seems solutions aren't wanted just a place to moan and groan. -

So I guess I only need half the WLL? For example what I'm picking up has 4 tie down areas. That gives me 26400. The load is 27136 lol

I have no issue with you being happy here at all. I'm actually happy for you it's just that anytime anyone mentions something about Mercer that isn't good you come along and defend them.
It doesn't matter to me why Mercer doesn't want to have a great app that can benefit everyone and it's their choice not to have it. That's not going to stop me and others from having a conversation about it and even point out how other companies are way ahead in that aspect. With so many companies offering such similar options, anything to help you stand out would be a good thing. But hey, what do I know. I've never ran a big company before.
Nothing I've said is a personal attack on you either. I've talked with you on the phone and you've been helpful to me. I have nothing personal against you.
I guess I wouldn't have an issue with the app going away if the website was more mobile friendly. At the end of the day, it is what it is. We either adapt or we move on.spyder7723 and thaistick Thank this. -

Where I differ is simply how I choose to deal with things.
I have simply offered a couple of ways to help work around possible problems, problems that I myself encountered, and the solution I found to make them workable.
I have simply also statedexactly what I was told when I asked about what was going on with this.
When you have talked to me as I was helpful, that's who I am, I have helped many on this site .
But i just deal with facts and solutions. I dont see the value in criticizing things in I cant help with a solution.
I dont post here with blanked out words or other insults.
Yes, other outfits may have bells and whistles. They also have a bit more deduction wise at some of them.
They are are much larger fleets close to 10k in trucks.
It's kind of a conundrum , what I like most about mercer , the easy going atmosphere, access to everyone, the kind of old days feel to it, the everybody taking lunch at same time, the way they buy drivers lunch, put on cookouts , you get real folks on the phone and dont punch numbers( they do have a hold button), I also like having a coordinator and I dont mind talking to them.
It also seems that is what may also be their greatest weakness to some.
I just wonder if they became landstar, became Schneider, etc etc.
Would it really be any better?
I dont like things changing anymore than the next guy, but when faced with it, I try to figure out how to make it work , doing anything else doesn't help.
I simply cant see how anything I have posted should result in being attacked.

So here is an update with my Claim from the accident. The company feels my Estimate is to high so they want me to go get another estimate. Problem i have with doing that is its a waste of my time and they arn't gonna pay for my 1-2 more days of down time.... The dealer i use has done all my body work and works me in right away and gets me back out. $4400 in repairs when there is a big hole in the side of my hood isn't much.. The last time this happen it was over $7000 if i remb right. I refuse to waste my time going to get another estimate which may only be $100-200 difference. So im gonna file it with our insurance then lawyer up and sue for my down time. Im going to go after them for the time i Deadhead home to get the front axle looked at and Estimate so thats 4 days.. Then the time to do the repairs another 4 days. Then i wanna go after them for the load i lost out of Dallas @ 2.52 a mile... my CPM with Maintance and fuel is $1.00 a mile so that would of been a nice pay(Not sure if i can get this or not but doesn't hurt to ask).
I Think what really pisses me off the most about this is the company wants to move slow at giving answers back and what not. The Driver that was no help and didn't give a #### about hitting my truck. I Couldn't even ask him for his insurance card as he spoke NO English. In my option a company that is allowing drivers to break the law should just do what they have to sweep it under and make the other person happy. I Could understand if i was asking for a stupid amount but i really wasn't. But 2 can play hard i guess:/whoopNride Thanks this.
