May need a reset and update. The one I saw doing this was off about 700 miles to the west. Reset it, updated it and it was working again inside 30 minutes.

The update being one they stick a flash drive in the side and some other steps I wasn't there for.

 

Yeah I've reset it 2 times

 

Logs sent me to omni tracks they said if it keeps doing it I gotta send my unit back to the company.

 

Not that I really want to get involved in this debate but when it comes to cheating elogs it’s like my dad would tell me when you put a lock on to keep something safe it’s not going to stop A thief it’s there to keep honest people honest by taking away the Temptations to steel

 

So I pre called yesterday to my customer. Called again today to confirm how to enter. Was told forklift is down... was told I'm looking at least 3 hours now... I'm glad I use a call recorder app so they can't say I didn't pre call

 

California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts,Montana, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington it is illegal to record a telephone conversation without informing them that you are doing so.... It is a felony in several of these states. Just an FYI.

 

Yeah ur right be all the other states long as one parts knows it doesn't matter lol.

 

So I'm at Iowa 80 they have these led kits. Bought them for my head lights. Super easy to install

 

When that entire sidetrack started, the cocaine cowboy...err, snowman, started his posts with name calling which in my never humble opinion, made everything said after completely and utterly irrelevant. That whole spitting match was a perfect example of, "When you wrestle with a pig..."

I no longer have a dog in the paper/electronic log squabble as I retired a few weeks ago. However, running legal, elogs were simply easier and eliminated the concern that a DOT inspector, frustrated that I always kept my truck maintained, would inject his opinion and not necessarily fact into determining whether or not I breezed through an inspection. My hired driver, who has never run elogs, cannot believe how much more enjoyable driving is without that back of the mind fear.
