So i get home to wausau and go to Freightliner. I tell them what happened and that the repair is only 6 days old, and it needs to be fixed. The say, well.....i would have to pay for it and go after ohio myself. I call OH, tell them the problem, ask em if they will be paying. Well, not sure, let me check with the service manager...blah blah blah.
I've had just about enough of this crap. I tell wausau to start the repairs. I call OH, get the service manager, tell him you got 3 choices...
    1..pay for your screw up
2..have it towed back to OH and fix it
3..do nothing. I'll sue you for $400 a day, every day, for an unoperable truck after your repairs.

Personally i like #3, but i think they went with #1. At least thats what the service manager thought will happen as i gave him my keys and left.

I mean seriously? After raping me for $10k, you dont wanna stand by your repairs? Shameful

Kind of what I figured was going to happen.

How long is your hometown freightliner saying it will take them to get you in&out? And what is the estimated cost?

Why is it every single time I get big AC units out of TN that the receiver never has anything to get it off with? Seriously they know what they ordered and were pre called for delivery!! This $50 an hour after 2 hours isn’t covering my cost of the loads I got booked out.
Anyone else have this situation? It’s happened twice in two weeks

I havent. I used to run those loads all the time. They kinda got scarce this year, and I've 3 cancel on me while waiting to be loaded, but I've not had an issue with the customer unable to offload me.

Well I totally understand this stuff happens but I’m going to do some better due diligence to call more and be sure these receivers know what’s coming and what it will take to unload. I may be stuck with this one for a day or more and it’s just really frustrating when I worked so hard to book out my week and now it’s shot

Yeah that's rough, hopefully they get you taken care of sooner rather than later

I’m about to put shorts on and hit the golf course right down the road and they can wait on me for a change

I haven't loaded there at all this year, dont see a lot of them on the board but anytime in the past I've never had issues getting loaded or unloaded...

Majority of my delivery with them have had a scheduled crane appointment...

The agent in Youngstown whom I'll never load for again because of refusal to not only respond to coordinator whom emailed about 7hr delay getting loaded and not telling anyone until mid Tuesday when im 2hrs from del that can't del till Thursday...we told agent Monday am at 8am edt that Wednesday was going to be the day to unload...so lost one load after that then due to delays at receiver lost a second load...both loads 158mi paying north of $4mi...agent tells everyone..sorry no detention or layover...so to hell with them and their freight...never again.
