What part of Ohio are you in? And how far of a DH are you talking to get a decent load in Ohio?

I have studied the trends till my head is about to explode but if you go by them they are on the money for what razor says he is doing. So it may be time to hang it up

Leaving home isn’t the problem. I’m always within 20 to 80 miles of good paying freight. It’s after I get going and then sometimes trying to get back. I live in Portsmouth Ohio. Very southern edge of Ohio

    JonJon78 Thanks this.

You run shorter loads than me so its not really comparable but i was only slightly down from last year until about mid may. Since then ive been sliding more. Partially due to a couple bad choices on my part but it seems more than just that.

I don’t have a choice but to run shorter loads because the longer ones have went to crap. For instance there is always good paying loads to KC and I could count on Kabota loads out of KS back that paid decent but they are now down about 30 to 40 cents pm on there loads

I just don’t know how I’m going to survive winter if I barely making it now. I have tried to think of everything to cut expenses but I’m operating as low as I can without going in more debt. Fuel mileage is crap because I idle for AC. I can sleep in 20 degrees but not 70 or above. Love to have apu but can’t see the payment right now. Have looked at used trailers but anything that would be cheaper is junk

Meant that those 2 bad choices werent enough to account for how much ive slipped since may.
