Where do you guys keep coming up with this rubbish that Mercer doesn't have any direct customers? How about some hard evidence not internet hearsay ? If you all can show proof of your assertions I will gladly recant my statement.

Don't like things, have a grudge for some reason, that's fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But making up unsubstantiated rumors like this is childish and shows a lack of knowledge of the facts.

No you prove otherwise. Show us who Mercer has as a direct customer, no outside broker or 3PL or anybody else involved in the load.

 

From my understanding Mercer gets it's freight from independent agents and it even says so on their website. They don't have any dedicated freight from shippers directly but it's hard to tell how many of those agents work exclusively with Mercer.

 

If were gonna count the independent mercer agents as a 3rd party then there would be very little freight that meets the criteria. That would just leave the LK offices which mainly handle national accounts.

Theres not a ton of shippers left that dont use a 3pl or something for moving stuff. It cuts all the compliance stuff regarding carrier documentation out for them. Sucks that it puts another hand in the jar though.
