I live in northern WI. I park my truck at my mechanics shop 60 miles away. Whenever i go there to get truck in winter, i always have 3 aluminum turkey roasting pans, 2 bags of charcoal, and a bottle of starting fluid for the charcoal. Gelled up? Fill up the pans. One under each fuel tank, one up under the hood offset from the pan. Come back in an hour and a half. Starts right up. Usually i dont have a problem cause i know whats coming. Last week had truck plugged in and she fired right up at -18. Filled her up with #1 the week before.
Just makes me want bbq for the next week though.

Just out of the blue.....what’s the Van rates at Mercer nowadays?! Is it worth talking to them this year after MATS?

I’ve heard...
Unfortunate times for sure. -
It's not bad on the spot market. I averaged $1.97 a mile last year and it was a down year. Not the best but it wasn't too bad. Spot is fixing to take off again and should last until 3Q of 2021. Looking forward to a good ride. Open deck is already taking off. -
That’s decent...1.97 all miles right? If so that’s definitely good considering some of their DH miles are a lot sometimes.
Last year, I was being told pretty honestly from someone at Mercer that average was1.65 - 1.75 loaded. I just couldn’t pull the trigger on that.
