What are the pros and cons to having either a mid roof vs a raised roof for flatbed? Why does everyone say mid roof for flatbed thank you for your time.

Height. Plain and simple. There are so many facilitys i cant even begin to count them thay have low hanging everything. A mid roof or flat top can get into them far more easily and even if they are a rare thing they give you many more options for loads while a condo gives less.

What's the difference between a "flat top" and a "mid roof"? I pull a tanker and drive a Pete 389 with a "coffin" sleeper. Which is that, mid of flat?

Coffin is flattop
Roughly speaking, if the cab roof and sleeper roof are the same height, thats flat roof, if the sleeper roof is higher, but not so high it doesnt need a wind dam attached to reach dry van height, its midroof.tscottme, Rideandrepair and Frank Speak Thank this. -
