Bought a semi truck 2007 Freightliner Columbia so the truck shows around 760,000 miles it’s got a cat 15 acer
But when I checked my elogs HOA that my company provides for owners it says miles 1.4M 16,000 hours
Story of the truck is it sat in a barn from 2011 until now and I can of believe that because it had green patches on the frame from sitting long time and a lot of dust came out from the fan when I turned it the ac on first time
Any idea is the miles are rolled back ? Or engine swapped ?
Miles rolled back ? New "to me" truck, and mileage doesn't match.

All the info you need to know is sitting in that cat computer.

16000 is way to low for 1.4 million miles.

All i know is thats one fast rig. Lifetime average speed of 87mph

If you've reading the 700k+ on the digital odometer, then the digital display was likely replaced. I worked for a company that had Columbias as spare trucks and the ECM miles and the digital odometer miles didn't match on most of them. Not sure why Freightliner made it so it didn't get the display mileage from the ECM, but if you try to figure out why Freightliner does most things, you'll go crazy long before you figure it out.

Used truck stories? Go with your gut feeling, you'd know if a truck sat in a barn for 10 years. Dust and mold can happen in a year. I'd go with the 1.4 mil, and was recently mothballed. If you didn't pay too much, shouldn't be a problem, still good a money maker.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
That’s 87 mph for the entire run time
Could this be a kilometer issue and not miles?gentleroger and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
How does it feel when driving? Unless it had a lot of new suspension parts put on you should be able to tell the difference between 700k and 1.4m
