Most insulting thing another driver can do

Even though I remember that the manual says that buttonhook right hand turns are proper, not just handle right hand turns, I did not read the manual about this.

I just thought that it was common sense that her car should yield to me since I have a giant tractor-trailer.

If I just stopped there, I would have been holding up traffic behind me too. She had no vehicles behind her.

She must have seen it like you since she flipped me the bird lol

 

I gave her about three to five seconds to start moving backwards, but she did not move. Then I blasted my air horn. It was the first time I have had an old woman (60ish) flip me the bird lol

 

Actually I have done just that. Making a left turn onto the main drag in beaver falls Ohio blocked off and traffic backed up about a mile each direction. Old guy in a buick wagon wouldn't let me finish my turn, and mouth going a mile a minute with the trailer practically spanning his hood. I threw the brakes on and started to read the paper.
Finally a guy on the side walk had a talk with the guy and he moved.
Even the other traffic could see the real problem.

 

seeing a slow truck pull out in front of a faster moving truck at the last minute to pass at .63 mph faster the the truck in the right lane. 7 miles later, they get by and move over.

 

I first had that situation while on my road test for Swift.

Turning right to the road leading back to the terminal, and it is a two lane road. It is also during rush hour in Fontana, CA.
I needed both lanes to make the turn and I sat there for a good 10 minutes, blocking the lane of cars behind me, until that lane cleared out long enough to make the turn without hitting the curb.

The instructor said nothing to me until we were back in the terminal and parked.
Then he said, Good job with that last turn. Many are impatient and fail because they curb the tandems.
That turn caused many drivers to be sent home, unemployed.

I wait if I need to, no problem
And there are a lot of 4-wheelies that respect my situation and will stop well before the line to allow me to make the turn safely.

No cop out there will fault you for sitting there until you can make the turn safely, no matter how long you hold up the traffic behind you.

I’m going to have to go with others and the jerks that champ out in the fuel island!
Had one try and justify it by saying “I pull doubles” well if you can’t handle the truck? Get out of it! I pulled doubles for years, and never had to block a fuel island! Just a dumb ### justification!

 

My guess is a lot of those who don’t want us passing them are guilty of cutting out at the last second when your right on them.
Had one last week try and blast me on the cb because I told him about it. Seems to me if you check your mirrors and that truck that was a half mile back, then a quarter mile, then a hundred ft, then all of a sudden is right there should be a real good clue he is moving faster and you shouldn’t cut out unless you can get your speed up first. Your not just changing lanes out there it’s a merge into the faster traffic and that requires you to accelerate not just switch and think oh they have brakes!

 

You left out brake checking another truck driver. Most dbag thing I have ever seen on the road.

 

If someone kicked my dog, I swear to God, this solemn promise.

A cheater pipe has multiple uses.
