We have an S Corp single truck owner operator business established and registered in AZ, we are considering moving to FL but I'm uncertain of how to transfer everything legally and or what can be left registered with AZ. Any advice?
Moving from AZ to FL, how to transfer the company authority?

You can inquire from myFlorida.com and ask a state agency. They also have a general question and contact form.

I doubt it is much trouble.
You seem to like low freight areas though. lol
What kind of trucking are you into?86scotty Thanks this. -
Here is how it is properly done.
You have to Form a new company in Florida.
Then you have to have that company acquire all the assets and liabilities of your old company
Then dissolve your old company in Arizona.
It is that simple.
I would get a lawyer to just do the asset/liability transfer but everything else can be done online in each state.
I think you can also use the same name, seeing there is no country wide registration system for corps. -
you need to consider that move first.

Or since you're a corporation, you can just file a form to change your corporate office location. That's what I did.
