Oh boy good catch, it does say my state. So it looks like I’ll most likely need to get fingerprinted again either way. Oh well at least I know I’ll come back clean.

HazMat doesn't transfer. If you get it before you move, you will also have to do it over after you move. I think all other endorsements just transfer and they last for as long as you keep your CDL.

Good to know I’ll keep that in mind for the future. Looks like I’ll have to take the hazmat test in the new state either way. Fingers crossed that they will not make me go thru TSA a second time, but looks like I might have to.

I just got an email that it was approved and I will be expected to be ready for training a week from tomorrow, however I don’t have all the details yet and training doesn’t start until 2/3.

My hazmat transfered to Indiana three years ago. But I had to get finger printed again. Because they wanted finger prints with in a year. They told me get printed and turn in my CDL then. Otherwise hazmat drops and I would to take a hazmat class for them and new prints. Getting the hazmat from Illinois may save you from having to take a class. I'm grandfathered in from the class and I don't know what is needed for it.

You know the cold keeps the feral crackhead population in check. Vegas they are much more free. Hookers, homeless, more substance abuse problems, degenerate gamblers. But, Housing is probably a lot cheaper. Taxes have to be better. Chicagoland property taxes are steep. It will be hot in the summer for sure.

Hehehe yeah there’s probably plenty of em in Vegas. It’s definitely going to be warmer than Chicago. Really this is more of an OTR position. I’m just being hired out of Vegas. Which is great for me, no state income tax. There’s actually a good chance I’m not in Vegas more than I am. My new home terminal is technically Phoenix, Vegas doesn’t have one. I’m sure Phoenix has its fair share of them rascals too. Yeah I’m excited. I think I’ll be leaving a week from today.
