They still have All the interstates screwed up? Wow, it’s been over 5 years since I quit OTR. I remember I-45 was the only one you could navigate unscathed by orange barrels and then they started tearing it up. I was like why can’t they finish one before they start tearing up another one. Lol

I’m in Houston. I’ll take it over New Jersey all day long.

I grew up in Virginia, I remember driving through New Jersey and paying high tolls and looking around wondering why people actually pay this much to live in that decrepit cesspool.

Finally in Austin they were asking why is it taking so long? Mopec and I35.

They started flying drones out to the construction sites and they found everyone out there just sitting around, not doing anything.

That ended up being a big deal... lots of people got fired.

They manage to build out those toll roads real quick. But the free roads take forever.

Yep, those construction workers and managers will milk it for as much overtime as they can possibly get. Texas freeways may sometimes seem like a go cart track with all the barrels and such. But that’s just how fast a well run red state with a bit of freedom can grow.

We need more freeways because people won’t stop moving here.

Housing market is off the chain, nice apartments costing a lot, bidding war for houses. New Car lots are empty parking lots. Lots of demand, low supply.

I was born in Texas, moved to Arkansas at 6 months old. Been there lots to visit family near College Station, but I’m always glad to come home. Nothing great about Texas and everyone there is so proud of it. Oh and they wear cowboy hats.

Well I’m originally from Virginia but I like living in Texas, though Virginia is definitely prettier. Not many cowboy hats in Houston these days.

I've lived in Florida, Texas, and now Las Vegas/Henderson.
So, Texas is a good place for you.
All three are good places to live. I like to move around though.
Do you know what type job you want?

I have been looking at same location Henderson in las vegas. Well maybe in the future, who knows.
Now I am trying to find out what city is safe to live in Texas and also have a lot job opportunities.
So do u think dallas is the best?

About job, it must be local, but since I have medical issues, probably yard jockey or shuttle driver. I have to pee very often and am just 27 lol
