If you record your fuel and mileage it calculates mpg... "automatically".
If you're running paper and not using DDL, you could probably manage your HOS better.
I drove for 2 carriers that accepted DDL printed log pages. -
I use "fillup" it's okay nothing fancy.
Here's a little preview on mine -
OK using the fill up app how do u know which one is your mpg it shows 3

I use a notebook at first & then later put it into my spreadsheet.
I used to use mygauges.com but I like to keep track of more info like splitting the tax from the cost, noting both the hours & mileage, how much wind or how mountainous the road was, etc -
Fuel gauges from letstruck.com. Its free, they have an app....logs mpg history and price per gallon. Allows partial fillups. You can see life time, 90 day, 30 day etc. Also allows you to note things like speed, weight, area etc so you can learn what effects your mpg the most.
toss009 Thanks this. -
Scan gauge D. Plugs into your ECM port and keeps track of everything. plus you can remove fault codes.
dannythetrucker Thanks this.
