Murphys Law in the truckerverse

When you squeegee your windows while you fuel up, then 47 seconds later a huge bug splatters on your windshield.

 

And the bug hits right dead center of your line of sight.

 

Even if it's a tiny bug.

 

The day you are trying to go home will invariably be the day absolutely everyone in the entire world will conspire to delay you.

 

Riding in the granny lane minding my business. Coming up on an on ramp, no cars in sight as far as I can see except that one car that merges at the same time I'm next to the merging lane. No other cars behind the merging car either. Never fails.

 

If you jump in the new far right lane on the interstate, it will be an exit only lane two miles down the road. If you don't thinking, we're gonna lose it in a few, that lane will be there for the next twenty miles. And you're the jerk in the wrong lane.

 

When u come to a rather large fuel island, single trucks at pumps all filled and u randomly pick whatever lane to wait behind...and that's the last truck, out of all of em, to move.

 

Quite...Makes for good therapy and gawd knows I need therapy.
