must you have a passenger seat?

    if you are a solo O/O, can you convert the passenger seat area into an office/entertainment area without running afoul of any laws?

    A previous company removed the passenger seat for a driver so they could mount a small freezer in it's place.

    I pulled mine because i have a 36” bunk & a Great dane. Lol. Best thing i ever did.

    It's a rare day I ever let them put anything in my cab. 2 times it's been a small cardboard box on a no tarp load. Paint samples IIRC.

    I’d mount a flat screen on the back on the bunk and putting a gaming chair in the passenger seat. LOL

    Or like mentioned it’s perfect to put your pups fluffy bed and with a sight window in the door.

    Not to put freight in the cab . It's to save weight (along with things like 80 gallon fuel tanks) so more crap can be packed in the trailer. Yes, some companies think the weight of the seat matters...
