I've seen landstar's load boards and their re brokered loads it loads. I wouldn't call those Rates good.

    Congratulations on owning a truck.
Some people on this website seem to be "Debbie downers" no matter what. Don't let that chatter bother you.
    Focus on you.
    Good luck.

Good luck - I'm in the "I would have leased on elsewhere" camp, but look forward to hearing how it works out for you.

If he’s read any of these threads for more than a minute he should of figured that out. USA has about the same reputation as CRE. But we do wish him well.

If it doesn’t work out, I’ll just take my toys and go elsewhere lol.

I just wrapped up last years accounting and noted my fixed and variable expenses at $1.36. Truck is paid off. What is your break even figure with the truck? Where did you previously lease on?

Do they have you on a fixed mileage rate plus FSC, or is there a load board for you? Self dispatch?

I'll assume you'll be using their vans - more drop and hook potential?

    BennysPennys and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

My per mile expenses run in the 1.30ish range as well.

it is a completely self dispatch program using the load board. You have access to external brokered freight and internal freight.

I am using their trailer, so yes there is a lot of drop and hook potential.

I hope they take less than 22 percent, and don't charge extra for insurance or... anything.
