i get that, but i don't get why he is doing that.
Is he doing that to be ####y, and prove how legal he is?

Did anybody else see the QC message today about having to call the HAZMAT hotline every time you pick up HAZMAT and before leaving the shipper? Its going to be a PITA to remember to do that. I also have the strange feeling I will get very irritated with it as it will likely be similar to other departments where you get to wait on hold for 25-30 minutes for somebody to come available. Hopefully that will not be the case but if it starts looking like par for the course I can see myself having friction. Probably just send a QC message to the effect of "Company not paying for minutes on my phone and I'm wasting time sitting on hold. This is what I'm carrying in this packing group and this quantity. Placards applied to truck and trailer. Leaving now." I usually send something similar to this with my HAZMAT loads anyways. Oh well.

Ok what exactly did they fire you for?????? Confused about the inverter? -

I agree with USA Truck's inverter policy. If you use one say with a 700 watt microwave you are pulling almost 60 amps at the battery. If the wires are not large enough or the whole thing is not properly vented the results can be tragic. As far as I know all the prostars had them.
