Dude, grats on finishing yer mentoring !!

Driving test was cake.. Just drive the guy around for 15 mins, then back to the terminal to do a back in. The phx one was a lil tight, but nothing more than you would experience at a truckstop late at night when yer looking for a spot to park.. easy.

Let me know what truck # ya end up getting and Ill keep an eye out for ya, as I know for sure they will send ya back east right out fo the shoot, as Ive seen a lot of new guys out there the past month. Have fun and best of luck !

    -=Peace

    WOHOO!

Sorry it took so long. Haven't had net where I've been at.

Finished my training, took my road test (It was a bit more involved than I was lead to believe) AND now after a week of downtime, I get my own truck tomorrow morning!

CAN'T WAIT! The truck number is a 300### number, so any indication of what kind it may be?

Either a Volvo 670 or a Freightliner Columbia.

If it is 300180 it was a great truck. I hated to part with it after getting it all fixed up. I actually wanted to buy it. Never thought I would feel comfortable in a different make/model the way I did with that Volvo. I've been in this truck since Feb oh-11, feels like home like the old company Volvo did. I'm working on getting this truck (Kenworth) in tip top shape and maybe hiring a driver to take it over then go local or buy another OTR truck. What will probably happen is I will get it fixed up perfect and not trust anyone else to keep it there lol.
I've turned the ship around with the MPG's, was getting low 6's in the summer with high idle times and clogged up DPF filter. Did 8.4 last night with 39,000 pounds of hazmat in the back.

Anyway good luck with your journey! Take your time and pace yourself and your truck.

I am looking into Swift but i have a question about being unemployed for the past six months. Can anyone tell me what all is supposed to be included on this noterized letter they ask for, and is this something I type up myself or it comes from someone else?
