PSD students get 10,000 miles credit towards a total of 40,000 miles during training. Someone isn't being totally clear about that, but keep in mind you will upgrade when your trainer and FM decide that you are ready. Those totals are a general target, not a hard and fast limit.

I had a general discharge from the navy in 1990, will that hurt me from getting in to prime or should I just leave it off my app?

That shouldn't be a problem... no matter what the Navy told you when it happened.

This is a response to the pm conversation we were having; I have too many stored to send any more, and can't figure out how to delete them from my phone:

You do need to get one, yes. The only thing that might prevent the need for one is if you we're discharged over ten years ago.

All major carriers will request a copy, not just prime. I do find, however, that state VA reps do a good job helping you acquire one in an expeditious manner.

I personally keep several copies and have a scanned copy on several externals and flash drives just in case.

Can someone answer this. Is the pay lower the first 20k miles as an A seat driver in your own truck? I heard it was 25 cents per mile for those first 20k. Olb6 the way this is my last run and im heading in to upgrade. It has been a l9ng process but well worth it.

It used to be when we were requiring 80k miles that you could upgrade at 60k and run with your trainer at the $600 guarantee or go solo at 30-cpm. That is as in USED TO BE. It's never been 25-cpm, at least as long as I've been with Prime. Then at the 80k point, you got a boost to 34-cpm. Remember, this system is no longer in effect.

Now, that being said, I BELIEVE you start solo at 36-cpm, plus whatever bonuses apply to your situation. This would be the 5-cpm lightweight, variable fuel bonus, and 5-cpm NE fleet bonus.

This is a good Chuck question. Where are ya Chuck???
