I also think it is piston cooling nozzle. However, that leak looks minor to me. Unless it is drip drip drip, I would just wash it and run it. Those nozzles are only plastic and I have seen them break when trying to remove.

Yea Ten4, I got to find some way to clean it without pressure washing it, or maybe just do a real easy pressure wash; because I’m always hesitant to pressure wash around sensors, wiring and the ECM for obvious reasonsDougA Thanks this.

Just be cautious - but as said above, you need to clean that old girl up.
Cooling nozzles are cheap, as is the oil return line from turbo.
Any broken plastic from brittle nozzles winds up floating around in the oil pan. Should remove all 6 and replace.DougA Thanks this. -
Ten4. Yeah I hope I don’t break any off. Any tips? Just unbolt and wiggle softly side to side?

I just use a concentrated degreaser diluted with water, spray it on the engine, rinse and repeat until clean.
I've never had to pay a truck wash to clean my engine. -
As said check it out and find the source. Could be a head, rocker box or valve cover gasket. It is no fun to do all of the things mentioned to find out you just needed a rocker shaft o-ring.

Yep. Just line the bolt hole up. You may need to tap the old ones to loosen them enough to pull out by hand. One is directly behind the oil filter so you might want to wait on that one till next time you change oil. Oh and be sure to lube the orings before pouring the new ones in. Anything will work, engine oil, vaseline, vegetable oil, whatever you have handy. Just don't use any kind of spray lubricant like wd40 or penetrating spray.

Rotate. Tap it then rotate back and forth as you pull them out. Do not put this off longer than necessary. Yes you risk breaking them and having to drop the pan to get the plastic bits out, but that's a lot cheaper than that oring finally giving out all the while on the road. If i remember right i used 4 gallons of oil to make it 30 miles to a parts store.HopeOverMope Thanks this.

Wow, Ok, understood. Got the truck at home when I noticed it, so I get to do it before going back out.

Yea it’s the cooling nozzle. I watched it bubble out this morning. Should I be using anti seize or loctite on the bolts? I see the torque is only 18ft lbs on it
