I am not a new driver I would just like to know any and all information people may have on this company. I know they are part of National Beef I have talked with drivers in Liberal at the big meat plant. Biggest question is do their trucks have APU's and inverters for a CPap/BiPap machine? Any and all input is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Thanks,

I worked for a O/O at NCI over 12 years ago and at the time they had no problem keeping the truck moving. I know now they have company driver slots so I am not sure on how that is working.... Stay away from the lease program.

I'm sorry I cant help you with any recent experience with NCI all I can go off is my time there 12 years ago. During my period there it was a O/O and L/P company, quiet a few o/o has multiple trucks leased onto NCI and they handled pay and everything with the driver. NCI handled all the dispatch operations and would work direct with all the drivers. In my experience there I had no trouble with with NCI keeping the truck loaded and dispatch was more then willing to help with any problems that came up. The constant problems I've run into was o/o complaining on lower pay and typical company going down hill stuff and there was a steady turn over on o/o's. Most of the drivers I ran into there were real good people, the office staff for the most part was not bad, but there were some politics going down in house. I tended to stay clear of that mess as much as I could. NCI at the time had a real bad safety score with the DOT and trust me s#$t rolled down hill to the point the girl running the safety dept was on a war path with to get rid of anybody for the smallest thing she could. I wont get into the L/P, but like everyone said before STAY AWAY from it, the guy running the program " Ed " ( I dont recall his last name ) was a snake in the grass and I was told first hand by a few of the guys in dispatch to RUN from him as fast as I could.
Sorry on my rant and I will jump off the soap box now, I hope this will give you some idea on my past experience at NCI. I would keep checking the forum and see if you can get some current news. You never know... Things their could be better or worse. Just keep doing some research before you decide to sign on..... Good Luck !!!CAGEtrucker Thanks this. -
