’m searching for a trucking school that will finance me and/or a company paid training program that will accept me with my M.V.R. and my criminal background. I have my M.V.R. attached. And my criminal background has armed robbery felonies on it dating back to 2008. I’m having a hard time and any help or any suggestions I might’ve missed would be greatly appreciated

Slow down man! Your record is scary. Is this all true or you are trolling?

19 points? Couldn’t have gotten a point out of that operating without a DL charge ? Make it an even 20? I know, I know-IM THE BAD GUY for commenting on this.

well in my opinion, the criminal record shouldnt be much of an issue as its pretty old - the driving record may be problematic though. About all you can do is wait for time to elapse and some of that stuff to fall off - Good Luck

You might start by moving to a state that only keeps a three year MVR, (i.e. Texas). Assuming it hasn't changed since I lived there.

If he moves to NY, none of those points will transfer and he will get a clean license. BUT, companies want to see his VA license record.

All of those points aren’t on my record. I only have 3 points on my record from the most recent charge. The other points already fell off. The M.V.R. just shows the offenses that haven’t fell off my record and how many points they carry, but doesn’t reflect that the points are already gone

It’s true, I’m not trolling. It looks like a lot but from what I’m being told the points don’t matter and the speeding tickets aren’t that bad either it’s the 4 year old Reckless driving that’s a problem

    Coffey and Swift007 Thank this.
