Please tell us the name of this doctor so we can report him for malpractice, among other things.

    And guess what?
Your social media accounts are not so secure and private as you seem to think.
You may use a handle in a forum, but your account is fair game. You can be tracked right to your location, real name, etc..
Maybe you should run and hide now.

BP levels are pretty tough for CDL

Doesn’t help that they changed the parameters for BP in recent years , throwing a third of the population into an ‘at risk’ category.

But there is big pharma for you.

I’m always borderline on getting a 2 year, and I’m 5’10 , 210lbs. Smoke and drink is my problem. Diet is pretty good - pretty much keto.

Yeah that was my first thought when i read this question, here is a driver quite clearly with a medical problem trying to find ways to beat the system to continue to drive with no consideration to the general safety of themselves and other road users. For sure get the medical issue fixed then get a medical certificate, there is a valid reason why the dept of Transport require drivers are to have a medical certificate to ensure the roads remain safe.

Bean Jr., dwells40 and JoeyJunk Thank this.

    Easy there tiger! :)

My chiropractor is my friend, but he won’t rubber stamp me on medicals.

We had the discussion and the liability still falls on him - he has had 3 attorney contacts in 10 years regarding lawsuits.

They dig deep - and no half way intelligent physician would expose themselves to that risk.

Not passing the medical DOT because of BP means that it must be really high...like 150/110 or something like that, which is not too good for sure. As soon as he is given some pills he'll be all right. I don't blame him for trying to find more lenient doctor because some of them are trying to find problems that don't exist. For instance, on my medical exam I was asked if ever in my life I smoked cigarettes and had alcohol - ever in my life ... what sort of stupid questions are they asking me? They need to test me, if I am fit to drive.
