US Xpress has a minority share in Arnold just as USX has mimority shares in Smith Transport, Abilene Motor Express, and New Century Transport. If they can verify all 10yrs then yes you will get top starting pay. You can average that depending on your dispatcher. I do and have been with Arnold since July 2010. You wont be getting the miles right away as theres a familiarization period with the company and how they work and the dispatcher sees your habits and how you run. Communication is key depending on who and how good your dispatcher is. The folks in Jacksonville are hands down better for the most part. But the miles in that area are there....ive run them for the past couple months. Just dont be picky on where you want to run and youll do just fine and make good money.
freddyb Thanks this. -
I can not can Not tell you one goid thing about us xpress!! Not one...& after 10 mnts that i wasss there could not find anyone who can , that includes arnold 2, i would keep looking!!!

I drove for Arnold for 5 years. i also bought a truck thru them which was hands down the best lease purchase in the industry. I used to run sun-thu or mon-fri. I always knew where i was going based on where i ws t.When US Express bough in, we got a raise and i noticed newer equipmeent. I also noticed some of the accounts were gone and US express driver were getting the loads. The final straw was when hey said driver would now be gone 2 weeks before home and now my runing area went drm tx,ok,ms,la,nm,ks,mo would now include midwest nd virgnia. Thats when i left for another company. i used to recomend arnorld when drivers would ask,now im like theyre ok,

I've been reading for awile, they don't impress me. Short loads(250-500 miles)is their gravy and we change trailer 20 times a week. Take it if you dare.
