New CDL Holder with 2yr old speed ticket

    I just got my CDL Monday April 8, 2024. But did not know I would come into the industry. I got a speeding ticket exactly two years ago for doing 20 over speed limit. I now know I wont get hired especially with no experience because I've been told by companies. Will OTR hire? Should I wait another year to re-apply? Should I use an attorney? I wish I had someone who knew about this to warn me to fix that issue or done my research before even getting my CDL but it happened and now I have to deal with it.

    I would investigate the attorney options,

    I wish more new entrants were aware of the damaging effects of speeding tickets prior to applying.
