I was fleet 34. My first dispatcher was decent even though he could be a forgetful PITA sometimes. The new one (forget her name) was just a PITA... but didn't complain to much as she did help me out when I was trying to get home to go on vacation *cough quit cough*.

She left when I went solo in April(had her for a week). She was brought back on and went to another fleet. Next was Jason Dustman, he sucked, and I was fixing to complain, and he was training a new FM. Zach Darden was his replacement. Never answered questions on QC, very forgetful of things I told him. Left me sitting with no load for three days, then tried not paying me Det. pay. When I was given a load to go to Laredo, when I was supposed to go home, I called above him to get a new FM. Was moved to fleet 3. Keith Coatney was here and he was even worse. Had problems with truck, and he was mad I couldn't get the load delivered. After sitting in terminal for a week, he tried not paying me for det. pay. I was to go home that weekend as well. Got 2 loads coming out of there and was told next day I would get a load going home. After delivery of second load I received a load going to WI. Sent a message and waited an hour to find out what was going on. Sent another and waited 30 mins, then 15 mins later sent another. 10 mins later another, and finally started loading his computer with messages, texted him, and called. He finally answered. Said to go get the load and he would get me to drop it and swap it in Spartanburg with a load to take home. I got to shipper, picked up load and he was complaining I shouldn't have sent him all those messages because he had other drivers to take care of as well. I ask, so how long should I sit here after asking you a question about a load not going home. There was no answer on that. So I got loaded and sent in macro's. I sent a message and said I was ready for new load to get home. He had already went home and the 2nd shift said I should have took care of that with my FM and I would have to run the load and he couldn't help me. I waited there until next morning and luckily weekend guy found me a load. 2 weeks later I quit and moved to another company. Have never been happier for the move. Make double the money, and 15% of the headaches.

It took me 11 days from the day I was let go till I started with my current company. I am making 9 cents more a mile and getting on average 1000 more miles a week. I know 100% what you mean. I am also able to save money, something I just could never do with USA Truck. After I paid my bills there simply was nothing left.

Why? It's possible to change your FM, after all, all folks are not designed to get along and sometimes it does not work out.

Ask for "your boss' boss" and request a change, the change could be just what you need.

The OP simply may be unfamiliar with USA,,,,,,not an unreasonable request.
