New job after ext break

I didnt drive for nearly 4 years held a valid cdl and med card every place wanted me to start from scratch.
I did some searching called a place in amarillo called Dee king trucking they had me do a few loads with someone less then a week and gave me my own truck.Most of there stuff is preloaded out of tyson and i remember doing a few loads to the chicago area. It was alright but i hate reefer got a decent truck volvo 860 new and it ran 75mph

 

Companies won't say much to anyone CALLING to apply for a job other than "go fill out an application." If you have an application in process they will usually talk to you if you call.

 

It's common for some companies to count you almost as a brand new CDL driver once you have more than 3 years out of the truck.

 

That's the problem of the non-paying person. The IRS will prosecute and jail you for not paying taxes even though sitting in jail significantly degrades your income.
