Depends who you work for. Some companies have their reefer set to shut down when the passenger side back door opens...some of our new ones will only run on low speed cool if the door sensor says the door is open, which sucks when the sensor has a malfunction and says the door is open when it's not. But normally, unless the customer says shut it off you leave it running until they're done.
