I got into something like this, wasn’t speeding, years ago.
In VA Me and 4 other company drivers got in troubles at scales because our Registration and ifta wasn’t updated, none of us had been back through the terminal and our company didn’t believe in fax and this was before cellphones.
They said if the company paid the ticket within 30 days no record on us.
They waited til last day, paid it, the state of VA suspended our licenses.

We got letter in mail, brought home by company yada yada, Our state didn’t see any suspension, was just in state of VA, and had to pay a $28 reinstatement fee for their state.
