Crete carriers and Shaffer trucking...both same company. Shaffer is their refrigerated department and Crete the dry van. Crete pays $.46 cpm practical miles and Shaffer pays practical miles at $.49 cpm. They do very little hazmat though. They will train you out over the road if you already have obtained your CDL which it sounds like you have. It's a fantastic company to work for. They are a 100% debt free company and very reputable. Good luck in your search. Any questions look me up on Facebook. Diana Busacca. I'm loving driving for Crete carriers.

Not sure about Crete's hiring age though but give them a call.

In SE TN there is a town on top of a vertical mountain. Hit it in the fog the previous evening and the tach fell down. Downshifted seeking a gear at which the tach should come up and stay there but nope.

Come morning the fog lifted and I realized that I was sitting on a mountain that was about 3 miles straight down with curves etc. I don't know the percentage of that grade but if I had to guess it would be at least 20% I wont be going that way any time soon. Kind of hard to run a hill upgrade if you cannot see 10 feet ahead.

The description is like Signal Mountain just outside Chattanooga. Juast around one of the hairpin curves is a house that looks like a flying saucer. Shocks you when you round that curve and see a flying saucer.

You should see a Yurt or round houses some people have around the USA. They look like they come out of Alexander's time. Rustic living. That is about as close to a Ufo I can think of right now.

I like those Yurt houses, but I don't think the wife would.

Hm> It has possibilities provided it has armor in form of a concrete alloy or similar material. You can laugh at storms, flooding or even tornados with such a home.
