I talked to the training department today to find out when I'll make it to a truck. They were alright. I can look forward to the 11th of this month. It would have been earlier, but I have some family issues that have to be taken care of first, but they were understanding. I'll keep you guys
    updated.

I'm in Dayton, OH and am now waiting to be picked up by my trainer Dan. I talked to him on the phone earlier and he sounds like an alright guy. However, I know hearing and seeing are two different things. I am, though, keeping an open mind so hopefully I'll be alright. In Dayton, I've been put up in the Howard Johnsons. It's a major improvement over that roach motel in St. Louis. I'll be leaving out with my trainer on Monday morning at 4am. I'll be driving first, so wish me luck. I'll keep you updated. See you on the road!:biggrin_255:

If I was a trainer I would drive first to let the student relax a little because they will be nervous in someone's truck and just starting in this field is stressfull enough. Plus they could see how I handle the truck, but then I also believe the trainer should be in the jump seat and not running like a team.
