So I'm in my sleeper at Behr in Santa Ana, Ca. I don't want to be in my sleeper I want to be at the back of my tank unloading latex right now.
I get there on time and the unloader tells me no room in the tank, nada, none, zero. Tells me they rejected a guy yesterday for the same reason. I was sitting quite comfortably in Coachella yesterday. Why then, if everyone knew the tank was full did nobody bother to call and tell my company who could then call me and say, oh I don't know, just sit tight, or to relay??? You guys operate this facility, you make the same thing every day for years and you don't know how much product you are going to use. How is that possible?
Now I have to wait till the "bosses" show up to make a call. If delayed an extended period where would they like me to park? No room in the plant, no parking signs all over the street. If rejected then thanks you just put me in the middle of L.A at 0700, that should be fun. Freakin people tick me off sometimes!!!
Once again the driver left to deal with other people's screw ups.
No room in the tank! (Rant)

Seems to happen all too often here as well. One of our guys will get to a plant, and they'll have no room in their tanks for the product ... "Oh, yeah we're full. Guess no one let your people know...won't be able to take this til x day."
Well, guess you'll be paying for the trip anyway, maybe next time you'll remember to let us know.

It's incredibly annoying when they turn someone away the day before and STILL didn't think to say anything about it or reschedule it. Just had that happen a few weeks ago ourselves. -
Well, not sure how long you've trucked, ethos, but there is always an inherent risk in trucking that, a) your load of peaches will be rejected, b) that's not what we ordered, c) no room in the silo for your load or d) all of the above. It's never been any different, and all of those things have happened to me ( just not at the same time or place) We've come accustomed to thinking everything is fine, nothing could possibly go wrong, yet, in this business, I've found, if it's going to wrong, this is the industry for that. Hope you get out of there ok , and if it's any consolation, this WILL happen again. Good luck.
