No wonder Swift got taken over by knight

Anyone read the article ... IT worker? It appears he was a little more than just a worker. He was funneling invoices through a dummy company.

Swift probably caught on to it, but it takes time to get law enforcement involved and build the case. They may have been able to shut it down early, but they let it run to nail this guy hard.

 

Moral of the story: Don't mess with the computer geeks.

 

What's the old adage? Don't steal, the government hates competition.

 

So what's this have to do with a merge? I hear both founders have been close buddies for quite awhile. anyway, I wonder cdl life caught wind of all the details? local news or a leak?

 

I would bet the farm this showed up as a result of the acquisition. I will almost bet some Knight Auditors were going through the books and discovered it. I don't have proof of it, but every company I have been with has audited everything from the paper clips to the gold bullion's in the safe when we acquired a company, as well as any contracts and what the contracts are for.

He's innocent till proven guilty

 

Two wrongs do not make a right. This guy, if found guilty, needs to do prison time and have a felony record for the rest of his life.
