Nobody is willing to give me a shot and don't have the money, because of MVR and DMV.

Hey I am Logan Phillips 25 years old. I recently was laid off from my job landscaping. Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to OTR or Operate heavy equipment. As of right now I am dying to become a OTR. I don't care if I have to run every night for a year straight with no break time. It doesn't effect me I have no job, kid nor am I married. I talked to a few schools and company's today. The schools say yes sure will give you a shot but first you need to make sure you can get pre-hired first before we put you threw school. I have contacted everyone. This one company called back and said yeah we'll help you out and we began talking and sure enough he said have you driven any semi's? I said no he said well call us back in six months after you start OTR and we'll give you a shot because your 2 points over what we can allow. I asked 2 points he said that they go back your Background as points and MVR and they tac on 2 points if your a student driver. I told him I would call him back in 6 months. I have been busting my ### to try to get in a decent school. I really don't even care about going to school I am a quick learner and I went out of my own way to get a CDL A Permit with DOT papers and what not. I am a TN resident.

I am willing to travel out of state but it kind of scares me about passing the CDL test in a different state. Because it took me 3 times to pass the knowledge test, once for the air break and combination test.


My DMV Record is

16+ in VA
11+ in TN
In the last year.


Also I have one Misaminor of theft back in 2012.


I Just want to drive! That's all I care about is I love driving. !

Can Someone please help me out or give me some advice?

 

Yeah I heard about Carolina Cargo I heard they will hire any type or person but they do team driving. I might go ahead and call them tomorrow. I have a couple of schools telling me if I get a PRE-Hire letter they they will accept me to. Would that mean any company. Ill drive for somebody that will pay me 100 dollars a week and all they have to do is sit in the passenger seat. That's how bad I want to do OTR.


Yeah China Town 16+ I know it's a killer. They consider is reckless driving but they MVR consider it just speeding...
