Noise on the truck, I cannot pin point where it's coming from?

I've driven some wonderful Trucks yet NEVER recall any Mirrors Whistling.
West Coast Mirrors never any noise.
Volvo, Freightshaker, Pete, K-Whopper, Ford, Cornbinder, maybe some rattling yet no "noise".

Line from movie titled "Cannonball Run":
(after tearing off the mirrors) "Whatsa Behinda Me Isa No Importante!"

Must be a helluva "noise" at 55+!
I've usually "opened a Mirror" with a Ball Peen Hammer or Fence Post or Building.
    Closing it = New.

Use some High Speed Low Profile Covert Ops Tape (some colors available wherever fine Tape sold) for the "Cool Cruiser Style".
    CHEERS!!

    reply sarcasm appreciated

Glad you have had alot of jobs. But I managed fleets of them. Velvac mirrors were standard on alot of volvo, freightliners prior to 2000. Avalible on anything. They leaked and whistled.

I have no way of knowing this is the op real problem. I'm only suggesting a possibility of a issue to investigate.

But since you have so many years wrenching on semi trucks, maybe you can take care of it for him.

    jamespmack,

Thanks B-2-U for your response and suggestion!

Some Employers had varieties of Equipment from Flat Top to Full Walk In Condos and ALL Manual Shift, until only autoshift for the last 5 O.T.R. years

There may have been a mirror or three that "whistled" while some simply "rattled" or didn't move due to electrical Gremlins.
We have a 2016 Hyundal Sante Fe and sometimes the driver rear view whistles, but it's a non issue.
As to the conundrum of "whistlers mirror", I've no additional suggestion and refer to Your Expertise in any positive resolution.

    Thanks 4 Ur Tym!!

EXCELLENT, along a similar track, I have a preference for Dax Sheppard in IDIOCRACY as well LET'S GO TO PRISON.

There are no "whistling mirrors" in either movie.
(just so this post isn't devoid of mentioning "mirrors")

    THANX!
