yep and they're laughing because they know the percentage of people who find this site and have the time to do the real research and homework will be small compared to the overall number of students coming out of the overpriced schools desperate for an income and dying to believe the pitch from the recruiters.

I had the luxury of time and was able to spend quite a few months on here weeding out the good from the bad before I made a choice of not only where I would train but the end result of the company I would be at now. true, one disgruntled driver is just one disgruntled whiner, but start getting 7,8,9.......15.....20 with the same complaints over several threads on the same company and a pattern of behavior and better overall picture of the company emerges.

i had a driver from one company that shows up here in the bad section from time to time parked next to me last night........this company also has it's cheerleaders that jumps right in to defend it soon as someone says something bad about it. he looked like he'd been there awhile so I struck up a conversation with him as I was doing post trip and he'd been sitting without a load for 2 days. he said the 2 parked across from us were there when he came in 2 days ago. the one 3 spots down from him came in yesterday. none of them had loads and nobody could get anyone from dispatch on the phone. yet the company shows up in both the good and the bad sections. is it a good or bad company? who knows. I know 4 drivers that are thinking it's pretty bad right about now lol maybe just a bad freight area for the company? I doubt it given the proximity to indy and Chicago. maybe just coincidence that 4 of the non-favorites show up at the same place to sit and wait until dispatch wants to fool with them? who knows

or maybe it's just a bad company.

it's very much a pattern thing with this section of the forum. you have to take it all with a grain of salt and look for commonalities instead of individual complaints and a truer picture of a given company with show itself

Like for example this threadhttp://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr.../276306-sol-express-inc-sol-express-stay.html.This guy did it to himself but yet blames the company. When it comes to the every day megas im going to side with the drivers because I use to drive for those every day megas. They're all pretty much the same in one way or another.Reason the staff laughs about what drivers post because they know its all true and are use to disgruntle drivers.Trucking wouldn't be trucking if there's wasn't drivers who complained.Megas knows ppl post on these forums about them but how often do you see somebody from that mega defending their company.Like England, werner, swift the list is endless. As long as they get drivers coming in by the dozens they really don't care what is said about them. Its sad these companies won't even try to better themselves to keep drivers.

To be fair, there are quite a few co's that are in both the Bad Company and Favorite Company sections. It's a subjective topic with no right answers, and let's face it. Put two drivers together and chances are they're going to disagree whether or not the sky is blue.

You do start to notice trends after a while. If a company shows up over and over, you can't just chalk it up as disgruntled ex drivers with an axe to grind.

patty, you have been over on the Swift forums lots, and you see many of us defending it all the time, especially against he trolls, those that have never worked there, do not have a clue, just want to post about what they heard from a friend who heard from another friend, etc etc. And this is from a driver that has been there now 4 years, finishing up my first lease next week and starting my 2nd one.

Yes this stuff happens all the time in every company. It is called TRUCKING. This doesn't make your company bad at all. As for your dispatcher you were maybe the 10th disgruntaled driver they had to deal today. Regaurdless there is bad days and great days in this industry I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

I don't think anyone would care if they were properly compensated for it. Would you show to an office all day and be forced to stay there for free and be told sorry no work, come back tomorrow. If truckers were compensated fairly I don't think they'd care about sitting all week. If the company complained about paying for a truck sitting, you can just tell them "That's Trucking".
