Even small companies like mine have to dig through a driver's past. The regulatory agencies and the insurance companies require a high degree of due diligence.
A driver that lies on an application will usually be found out. A little lie gives you a reason to see what else he might be lying about.
A lie means he's covering up a screw-up of some kind. A screw up can usually be explained, there's no need to lie about it.
I can put up with a lot but when a driver lies he's starting toward the edge.

After a couple of years in the food service industry, he'll have a good command of certain words in the English language. :violent1:

Well your probably gonna get canned if you do get hired somewhere. They will find out. Might be best to just be honest then maybe you wont be looking for another job so soon after getting hired. People are going to respond however they will so "looking" for a better response might not be very productive. The general consensuses is do not omit that on an application.

I have two trucking employers in my resume that I worked at for less than two months, that I was fired from.

I recently applied for a position with a Major National LTL Carrier.

I left these two places off my application.

The third-party background check supplier contracted by the Major National LTL Carrier drilled down 22 years, and found both companies.

Then the Major National LTL Carrier asked me if I left the two companies off on purpose, and if so, please explain why.

So I explained, and never heard from the aforementioned carrier again.

    "Be governed accordingly".......
