Having read the post about a truck loaded with missiles that crashed, I wound up falling down a rabbit hole of 'ghost fleet' posts here on the forum. In one of these posts I came across mention of an incident that occurred in Joplin, MO decades ago involving a TSMT truck that exploded in transit.
The truck had been hauling 21 tons of dynamite and was fired upon after crossing a Teamsters picket line with the resulting explosion leaving a blast crater 30 feet deep and 50 feet wide.
This is a fascinating bit of history and I wanted to share with those of you who may be interested.

This was so bad. They fired not only on this guys truck, but had previously fired on other trucks earlier in the week.

The shooter only served 8 yrs of a 99 yr sentence.

That was bad. I remember strikes at the packing houses around Sioux City in the late 70s where cars carrying scabs into the plant would get overturned when they tried to cross the picket line. One time there was some automatic weapons fire too, if I remember correctly.
