My wife and I are thinking about taking g the plunge into O/Oing. We have been posting/creeping on this forum for a few years now and we have a good handle on operating costs and expenses. The only thing we are still SUPER nervous about, and the one thing keeping us a company otr team is freight... we currently drive a dedicated route with Schneider, which is the cats ###! Doesn't pay as much as some places, but gaur entered miles and same patch of highway. We were going to lease on to Schneider onto this route, but when Jan 1st rolled around they took ALL IC's to choice. We don't want to do choice.

Does anyone know of dedicated lease opportunities or brokers that offer dedicated runs? I have no illusions that the simple answer will be "yes, and here are the companies", but are there opportunities out there?

Personal question, and you may decline -

What is your average yearly gross as team company there?

Right about 50 a piece...we could make more but we usually sneak an extra day or two hometown when we go. The difference is that we are out for 6-8 weeks at a time

The teams who live at either end of the run usually get 1.5 days at home every weekend. We live in Dallas and the route is from Topeka to Denver and back everyday.
