I know a few folks that run for them, one close friend so I've learned a lot. They employ a lot of teams and do a lot of DOD work if you want it. They've been around for 50 or more years and are solid and organized.

 

@86scotty THANK YOU! Appreciate you for responding . Have been scrubbing the internet trying to find info on them from owner ops that are currently there before we called recruiting and they sugar coated everything lol

and do you know how much they're averaging per month? And how often do they sit in between loads? Trying to narrow down between Bennett, prestera and them. Bennett has a waiting list and backed up, and requires upfront equipment costs, they offered for us to lease on to their sister companies running solo van freight or solo flatbed freight until a spot opens up so we know it's temporary but we are a Team and don't think the money is there doing solo freight and just want to run and get DOD money since that's what we've been doing.

We're coming from TSMT and Baggett seems similar with the aspect of providing equipment without the excess fees. Tired of haz waste and freight seems to be low. So hoping Baggett doesn't have the same issues.

Would it make any sense for your wife to purchase some really nice businesswoman's attire [heels, stockings, tight skirt, blouse, jacket, attache case] and physically drive to a bunch of different enterprises for several months, and present herself as a BUSINESSWOMAN who was serious about doing business with other business people?

Can you get some template contracts written up which would define the terms of a typical job?

The more middlemen you cut out of the equation, the more you're gonna profit.

The middleman laugh all the way to the bank; make them cry instead.
