Now I'm no rocket scientist, but this seems excessive to me, can some of you guys give me a heads up on what an average % rate of a load and FSC should be, or is likely to be.
I run in NY and NJ.
thanks
Buster
O/O just found out Co. takes 22% of load and 42% FSC

How much in your opinion should be taken out?
-
Kick it like a bad habit!
But more info needed. Are you leased, power only? Whats your situation? -
Crap, did it again, forgot where I was. I thought this was the experienced driver part of the forum.
OK assuming you have a contract, what does your contract say?tallinthesaddle4life and Cottonmouth85 Thank this. -
Yea did one not read before signing...
Orangees, bigguns, tallinthesaddle4life and 1 other person Thank this. -
The load percentage sounds close to normal, the fuel surcharge is usually all yours, unless it's LTL and they do the P&D.
-
Its your truck, you should be getting 100% of fuel surcharge to your truck.
-
Company I work for pays out 80% of the load and 100% of the FSC. That's for O/O with own trailer. Not sure if they show rate cons or not, I'm a company man.
-
How did you sign on with a company without knowing how much you're getting paid? If you own the equipment, you should be getting all of the FSC.
