    1 in 20. Typically a tire(s).

The one I have now has to be the oldest trailer in the fleet.

Unless something has changed recently this is not accurate.

Aren't you at Mercer? Are you allowed to book multiple loads or do you have to be empty before you can book the next one?

@Farmerbob1 ... If want to learn about rates and lanes ... Spend $30 a month and subscribe to truckloadrate.com ...

You can look up the high, low an median rate on any lane. Start tracking your loads see what your getting paid and see what you could get paid.

After few months you'll start to have good feel for where there freight is and what is paying.

Yes I'm at Mercer. You can book multiple loads. I'm loaded now and have 3 loads book for next week...

The truck I am in now is not the truck I want. It is the truck I have, and I hope that it will last until I pay it off, so I can have a trade with reasonable value & build a substantial deposit on top of that for the truck I want.

Right now, it passes oil samples without concern, I change semi synthetic oil every 20k miles or so, and add no oil between oil changes. It passed a dyno without concern about 30k miles ago, it also just had a valve adjustment done a few thousand miles back.

In a moderately scary and lucky break, I barely squeaked by and got the DEF system one-box unit replaced with 300 miles remaining on warrantee.

I am crossing the fingers I have left and am hoping to get 100-150k solid miles more out of it before I trade it in on something I want.

Thank you. I believe this will happen on my next 34 when I crank up the work laptop.

As you already know your truck is nothing more than tool too perform a job. Choose your jobs wisely. I have been where you are and would only give advice I wish I had taken myself. For what it's worth that's my 2¢. Good luck man.

There was a guy that was in my orientation that came from Mercer, did HH / RGN type stuff, husband and wife.

    He said the opposite.
